Industrial Land in Egypt

• Factory Setup in Egypt

Land is the first step for a factory, and its obligations start on allocation

The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) allocates industrial land, and available plots and prices are listed on IDA’s digital industrial platform (madein.eg). Allocation comes with obligations, including a seriousness period, an implementation timetable and a financial guarantee. We handle the allocation application with you, review its terms, and monitor the obligations through to operations.

• What we review before we start

  • The industrial activity and the land area it needs.
  • The right zone: an IDA zone or one run by an industrial developer.
  • The terms of the offering and the payment method.
  • The implementation timetable required.
